About us
The Swan Inn is a popular choice for wedding parties and wedding guests of those getting married in the local area. As you will see on trip advisor, we have made many a happy bride with our warm and generous hospitality.
Lodgings
Our 15 bedrooms are all en suite, and our family suite has a shared bathroom and sleeps up to five guests across three bedrooms. The king doubles and four poster rooms offer ample space for brides and bridesmaids to get ready on the morning of the wedding. Each bedroom has a unique sense of character and is well proportioned offering your guests a comfortable and relaxed stay. You will be welcomed in the morning with a hearty Sussex breakfast served in the restaurant.
Food & Drink
The restaurant and bar serves locally sourced, consistently changing dishes of simple, rustic food (especially if cooked in the wood burning oven). We can cater for you and your guests the night before the wedding with a relaxed meal in the restaurant. If your wedding is on a Saturday many wedding parties have stayed on for our popular Sussex Roasts or a BBQ in the garden on the Sunday. We also have a children’s menu available.
The bar has an extensive drinks list with ales and wines from vineyards and breweries across Sussex and offers a great meeting place for friends and families across the wedding. Our large garden is beautiful in the summer and offers a relaxed spot for drinks or bite to eat from our bar menu.

Exclusive use
You can hire the Swan exclusively for your wedding party, and we offer a 10% discount on our fixed room rates when you occupy all of our rooms.
Deposits
For wedding bookings we require a 50% deposit taken for all rooms reserved for you and your guests. This deposit is refundable once full payment has been received, either upon checkout or once all of your guests have paid (this can be in advance of your stay).
Deposits are non refundable but can be moved to an alternate date.
Allocating rooms
Once your booking is secured you can either provide us with a list of names for the rooms or your guests can hpone up themselves to reserve their own room
Children
Our family suite sleeps five and is ideal for families with children, alternatively our triple rooms have a double and single bed and are ideal for small families. We do have a limited number of put up beds, please note these will need to go into our superior double rooms as they have more floor space. For health and safety reasons we do not provide cots for babies.
